Time-Saving Tips in the Shower
Great ways to save time while you shower
Are you always in a rush to get out the door? Do you skip shaving or skimp on your oral health routine because you are short on time?
We have some ideas for multi-tasking while in the shower that can help you save time and keep your bathroom sink cleaner, too!
#1 Keep a toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower.
Wet your toothbrush in the shower stream, apply toothpaste, and brush! Remember your molars and brush from your gums toward the chewing surfaces (front and back sides of teeth). And don't forget to brush your tongue! You can find additional tooth brushing tips from the American Dental Association.
#2 Floss in the shower.
Now you can water floss in the shower with the new Waterpik® Cordless Water Flosser. The Cordless Freedom includes 3AA batteries and an easy-to-fill reservoir. It is cordless and portable, so you can take it with you wherever you go.
#3 Shave in the shower.
Guys need a fog-free mirror for best results. Before washing, apply shaving cream. As you wash, give the shaving cream time to soften your hair for a closer shave. Then shave away, using the shower water stream to rinse your razor as needed.
#4 Let your hair go.
It is okay to skip the daily shampoo routine. Daily shampooing can actually dehydrate your hair because it removes oil and excess skin cells from the scalp. You may find that your locks actually start to look better if you go 2-3 days between washings!
Beat the Rush
When you are done, turn off the shower water, take a look at yourself in the mirror, and smile! You are ready to start your day feeling relaxed and good from the inside out!
